Launch Completed!


Well, what can I say.  Like on the page, this is my first game ever made.

Coming from little or no experience, I personally think it went well. I learned a lot using the Godot Engine including; How to animate sprites, how to create tilesets and layers for them, one and two way platforms, collision shapes, parallax backgrounds, UI, movement, and just so much.

This whole project took about an entire month to complete, at about eight to ten hours a day.  There was a few break days in between however, I was so hyperfixated and interested in completing this game.

Otherwise, while I understand there will be a couple of unfixed bugs int he game, I do plan on moving onto my next project.  There, I'll be learning projectiles, RNG, and overall improving my coding abilities.

I genuinely want to thank all of my friends and family, extended or personal, as well as Flying Oak Games (They made Scourgebringer, Neurovoider, and Greedy Kid) as well as Pirate Software (currently working on Heartbound) and so many others for all the inspiration and motivation, advice, and help provided. O, and the Godot discord as well!

More games to come in the future!
